Our Story

It started in 2020, in a small room in one of our homes — the kind of year that made everyone slow down and notice what actually mattered.

Shravi and Shruti had been friends since school, but it was gifting — the joy of choosing something thoughtful, wrapping it with care, watching someone's face when they opened it — that pulled them together into something bigger. One came from a background in economics, the other from crafts. An unlikely pairing on paper, but exactly what Ivory Tales needed: someone to dream it up, someone to build it with their hands.

What began as two friends creating gifts for people they loved slowly became a studio. Five years on, that room has grown into a real workspace, a team of six, and over 2,000 hampers sent to homes across the country — each one still handpainted, hand-tied, and personally thought through, the same way the very first one was.

We're not trying to be the biggest. We just want every box that leaves our studio to feel like it was made for someone — because it was.
